ARE YOU A
ZOMBIE?
We hope eventually to
create a page that is a helpful tool to people who are contemplating
taking their lives, and also to the people who love them and want to help
them.
We are not there yet. We are still healing ourselves, and
still fumble-fingered.
Until we do this, we will be listing some
links that we think ask the right questions about the most dangerous
phases of zombiism -- i.e., mental distress.
The idea is to get
people thinking. Most people, knowing the pain that suicide causes, do not
want to go there. Most people, if they have reason to think their lives
can improve, do not go there.
We don't think "everyone can be
saved." People will still do this, because the world is an unfair and
unhappy place. But some people are just having a bad week. Next week will
be better. Those are the folks we hope to reach.
Note: These little
applets are not typically scientific. Think of them as thought-starters.
Once you know what you may have, it's possible to find out how people are
solving those specific problems. Most (but not every) situations have
solutions. In a pinch, call Mike at 651-644-4540. (He's not scientific
either.)
